Clinic History
The clinic opened its doors in July 2002 (known then as Jonathon Langer Chiropractic) with a makeshift portable adjustment table, limited furniture, and a brand new computer that we didn’t know how to use. Along with this came a very loyal and willing Chiropractic Assistant (CA), and one excited chiropractor!
The clinic at that time comprised of 40 square metres. The office space consisted of 2 small rooms with a very tight waiting/reception area carpeted in old blue carpet and walls painted in yellow! The surrounds were nothing special but there was always a strong intention to provide quality chiropractic care and high “customer satisfaction”.
Our clinic grew very quickly over the next 12 to 18 months and we realised that we would clearly need more room for continued growth, and for additional services. Fortunately for us, the opposite side of the building became available as the existing dentist vacated and we were able to expand our office space by more than double.
We went from 2 rooms to 5 in a small period of time, and having completed all the refurbishing, we were lucky enough to gain the services of Erin Hunter, Occupational Therapist in 2005. Erin fitted in perfectly as expected, as she and Jonathon had previously worked well together in another clinic.
In 2006 we enticed owner and operator of Natura Naturopathic Clinic, Lia Tonich to our practice. Lia has been a fantastic addition to our clinic, providing high quality advice and natural medicine alternatives to our range of services. Having previously lectured and taught extensively we were very lucky to gain such a knowledgeable Naturopath and since beginning she has grown her clinic and enhanced her already excellent reputation in a very short period of time.
At about the same time we expanded further to include a massage therapist (Adina Hill) who was an excellent asset to our clinic until she left about a year later to grow her own family!
In January 2007, the clinic saw two more valuable additions.
After much enticing from existing practitioners and patients alike, we finally gained the services of well known Occupational Therapist Jacque Beros in 2007. Jacque brought to our clinic a massive client base of elite dancers and sports people, a huge reputation for excellence, and an exemplary level of professionalism.
At the same time, Jon Tan, Chiropractor, joined the team after a prolonged and intensive search to find the right ‘fit’ for our clinic. Jon formed part of the first group of graduate Chiropractors from Murdoch University in Perth and has continued post graduate studies in Sports Chiropractic which he is passionate about.
Caley has been joined in the admin team by Lesley Pantel and Megan Matrakis, forming the greatest admin team the world has ever known!
