Services We Provide
Chiropractic
Chiropractic is based on the scientific fact that your nervous system controls the function of every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body.
Your nervous system consists of your brain, spinal cord, and millions of nerves. Your brain is protected by the skull and your spinal cord is protected by the 24 moving bones of the spine. Many everyday activities can cause these spinal bones to lose their normal position and motion. This can result in spinal injury and nervous system dysfunction and ultimately, ill-health.
The chiropractic approach to better health is to detect and correct spinal dysfunction to reduce and help prevent nervous system dysfunction.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists working in the area of soft tissue rehabilitation, focus on improving the function of muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
A variety of hands on techniques including myopractic, are used to release muscle tightness, break up fibrous adhesions, and re-train the body to use the muscle appropriately.
Personalised stretching and strengthening programs are incorporated to assist in restoring optimal movement patterns.
Lifestyle factors such as workplace set up and sleeping positions are considered in order to identify and manage aggravating factors.
Naturopathy
Naturopathy is a health profession based on the art and science of “nature-cure”. It comprises of modalities such as nutrition, herbal medicine, and homoeopathy.
The naturopath will use diagnostic tools such as nail and tongue analysis, iridology, and case talking to give an individualised prescription based on diet and lifestyle change, herbal and homeopathic preparations, and vitamin and mineral supplementation.
The holistic approach looks at physical, mental and emotional aspects of health and disease, therefore ensuring long term health and well-being.
